  • Discover and promote new technologies for performance enhancement.
  • Managing personnel and equipment at the rig site.
  • Detecting and resolving any difficulty that threatens early execution.
  • Ensure efficient and secure drilling in adherence to the drilling specifications and company procedures.
  • Monitors the complete optimization of a well using optimum practices.
  • Ensures that all drilling and completion operations are done in accordance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) procedures.
  • Monitor the usage rate of materials at the rig site and report any need for restocking.
  • Report any significant problem, change or accident to the senior drilling completion supervisor.

 

  • Collaborate directly with suppliers to determine when equipment is ready for transportation to the site.
  • Participation in emergency drills especially in abandoned locations and all onshore planning for completion operation.
  • Participates in all work-related training and also trains junior members.
  • Ensures that all operations are properly understood before being commenced.

 

Completion Supervisor’s Qualification and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • 5+ years of solid experience in drilling and completion operations.
  • Experience with well testing.
  • Knowledge in high-profile drilling.
  • Training in drilling activities, i.e, drilling operation experience.
  • Knowledge in advanced drilling.
