How To Schedule And Attend An Interview

Did you receive a notification (via email) about an interview? Then you’re on the right page. 

It means the client has selected you as one of the prospective personnel for a project. 

An interview session with the client provides an opportunity to talk about your skills and experience and, most importantly, to convince the client that you're the best person for the job. So, you've got to give it your best shot!

 

So, how do I prepare for the interview? 

Good question. The first thing to do is check the interview date and time. If the project is urgent, the client might set a close date (and time). You might miss the interview and the opportunity if you don't attend it fast enough.

That said, please follow these steps to get started:

1. Open the email notification you got from Manup and click on the LOGIN button.

 

2. From your Dashboard, click on Interviews under the Manup icon on the left pane to view the project(s) you’ve been selected for an interview.

  1. Navigate to the Action subtitle under Interviews and click on the more (three horizontal dots) icon to view a submenu.
  • Select Schedule

3. Next, click on the drop-down menu and select a preferred interview date.

Note: the client might set up single interview date (and time).

  • Click on CONFIRM DATE 

After that, your interview Status will change to “Confirmed.”

 

Can I change my interview date?

Yes, you can change your interview date if the client scheduled multiple dates that have not passed. If otherwise, you’d have to stick to your current date.

If the client setup multiple dates, repeat steps 4 and 5 above to select your preferred interview date.

 

Now that we've gone through the interview schedule, let's see how to attend the interview.

 

How to Attend an Interview

On the interview date, follow these steps to attend the interview:

1. Log in to Manup’s platform directly from your web browser.

  • Fill in your login details and click on Sign in.

2. From your Dashboard, click on Interviews under the Manup icon on the left pane to view the project(s) you’ve been selected for an interview.

3. Navigate to the Action subtitle under Interviews and click on the more (three horizontal dots) icon to view a submenu.

  • Select Goto Interview

4. After that, you’ll be redirected to the meeting room. 

(For first-timers, you might get a prompt to allow 'getmanup.co' to use your mic and camera. Confirm, and you're good to go.)

  • Ensure the mic and video icons are not disabled (crossed).

If they are, click on the icons to enable them.

  • Finally, click on Join, and you're good to go.
