The Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition (LAGCOE)’s biennial Technical Exposition and Conference (The Energy Fest) brings together the energy industry's brightest professionals and businesses to share innovations and technological advancements in the industry.

The conference relocated to New Orleans in 2019 but will return to Lafayette in 2022. LAGCOE pledges to transform our understanding of energy as we shift focus to sustainability.

LAGCOE's Technical Expositions & Conferences History
LAGCOE is one of the world's oil and gas exposition pioneers and home to thousands of energy industry companies with global impact. Its first unofficial exposition began in the Petroleum Club of Lafayette's parking lot in 1953.
The first official LAGCOE exposition occurred two years after the parking lot show at Louisiana's Blackham Coliseum, Lafayette, with about 130 exhibitors from 10 states, including California, Texas, New York, and Louisiana.
The exposition outgrew the Blackham Coliseum's space in 1995 and moved to the Cajundome & Convention Center. Then it evolved into the first-class technical exhibition & conference it is today.
LAGCOE has maintained its long-standing commitment to promoting the energy industry's growth for over six decades. LAGCOE carefully crafts its exhibits and technical presentations at each exposition to support bold, innovative approaches in the global quest for energy.
